KUDOZ International Preschool is a well conceptualized, innovative and a spacious preschool where your child will experience the joy of learning, the companionship of friends and the benefits of a loving and caring environment. We strive to help each child grow physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
“KUDOZ” comes from Greek word and it means ‘praise’. The quality and nature of a child’s early experiences in life lay the foundation and brain architecture for the learning and behavior that follows.
KUDOZ International Preschool is driven towards providing meaningful, joyful, holistic and developmentally appropriate child centric education by its core philosophy of Think, Learn or Create or TLC as we like to call it.
At KUDOZ, the daily routine is planned around a three-hour session. We encompass the EYFS (British curriculum) and Reggio Emilia approach with vital modifications that allow the curriculum to better suit our philosophy.
We have learned not simply to cover the curriculum but to become researchers of children, to investigate and tackle the questions of: what will the children learn, how best will they learn, and how will we know what they have learned.
One of the most profound ways we do this is through the pedagogical documentation. Through listening and observing the children closely, and documenting the process of their thinking and understanding, teachers work and learn collaboratively through discussion, reflection, and interpretation of the documentation, putting forward their own theories of how children respond to challenges and provocations.
The philosophy of both the EYFS and the Reggio Emilia Approach encourage children to wonder and to ask questions, and we strive to create an environment to support this way of thinking. Continuous provision runs throughout the day, with children having choice on the activities and resources they can access, with planned, small and large group times during each session providing maximum opportunities and experiences over the day.
